Five One-Pot SPAM® Recipes

One-Pot SPAM® Recipes for anytime of the day that offers comfort like no other. Enjoy SPAM® over rice, pasta or as an appetizing snack! 

SPAM® Kimchi Rice

Netflix and chill alone? with a friend? or with the gang? This SPAM® Kimchi Rice recipe is sure to bring happiness to everyone during those Netflix binging sessions.


  • ½ can of SPAM®; original, chopped into 1cm x 1cm cubes
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1/3 cup kimchi (napa cabbage type); juice squeezed out(reserved), chopped
  • 1/8 cup spring onions; finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp roasted white sesame seeds
  • 1 pc egg; fried, sunny side up
  • More finely chopped spring onions for garnishing
  • More roasted white sesame seeds for garnishing
  • Kimchi Sauce
    • ¼ cup kimchi juice
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp gochujang
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1 tsp brown sugar
    • 1/8 tsp black pepper; ground


  1. In a bowl, add in all of the ingredients of the kimchi sauce. Mix this well and then set this aside.
  2. In a pan, put in some oil and heat it up.
  3. Fry up the cubed SPAM® for about 1 minute on each side on a moderate to high flame until it gets a nice sear. Do this on all sides.
  4. Take out the seared SPAM® and set it aside. Add more oil to the same pan.
  5. Saute the chopped kimchi in the oil for about two minutes on low to moderate flame.
  6. Add in the rice and mix this well until the kimchi is distributed in the rice.
  7. Add in the mixed kimchi sauce and mix this well until the rice is fully covered and colored by the kimchi sauce.
  8. Cook this out until the sauce dries up and gets absorbed by the rice.
  9. Add in your roasted white sesame seeds, spring onions and SPAM® and mix well.
  10. Plate this in a bowl and serve with the fried egg on top then garnish with more roasted white sesame seeds and finely chopped spring onions.
  11. Serve hot and enjoy!

Sizzling SPAM® Sisig

Looking to impress the barkada in your next home chill-out? Bringing out a sizzling dish is a guaranteed way to do that specially if it’s a SPAM® prepared sisig style!


  • 1 can of SPAM®; cubed into ½ cm x ½ cm
  • ¼ cup onions; white, brunoise
  • 1/8 cup green chilies; chopped finely into rondels
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp liquid seasoning
  • 2 pcs calamansi; juiced
  • 1 pc egg
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Finely chopped spring onions for garnishing
  • More calamansi for garnishing
  • Pepper to taste


  1. Saute garlic in a hot pan with some oil on moderate heat.
  2. Add in half of the chopped onions and half of the chopped green chilies and saute this for about 30 seconds on high heat.
  3. Add in the cubed SPAM® and saute for about a minute in high heat.
  4. Add in the liquid seasoning and the calamansi juice and continue to saute on high heat for about a minute.
  5. Add in the rest of the green chilis and chopped onions and saute for 30 seconds more. Season with pepper as desired
  6. Transfer this into a hot sizzling pan and make a well in the center where you will drop the raw egg in the middle of the well.
  7. Drizzle mayonnaise on top by putting it into a squeeze bottle to be able to squeeze it out into zigzag lines on top of the sizzling SPAM® sisig.
  8. Garnish with spring onions on top and serve with calamansi on the side.
  9. Serve immediately while sizzling and hot. Enjoy!

SPAM® Yangchow Fried Rice

Bring your fried rice for the family dinner to the next level. Make Yangchow with SPAM®.


  • ½ can of SPAM®; cubed into ½ cm x ½ cm
  • 1/3 cup shrimps; small, no shell, no head
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tbsp garlic; minced
  • 2 tbsp onions; white, brunoise
  • 2 egg; beaten
  • 1/3 cup green peas
  • ¼ cup carrots; brunoise
  • 1/8 cup spring onions; finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • A pinch of yellow food coloring diluted in 1 tbsp water
  • Finely chopped spring onions for garnishing
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a hot pan, add in some oil and cook the beaten eggs into scrambled eggs. Make sure they cook out dry and try to break them down into small pieces using your wooden spoon.
  2. Take this out of the pan and set it aside. Add more oil into the same pan.
  3. Add in SPAM® and cook this out until crispy and has rendered its flavor unto the oil for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add in the onions and saute until soft, tender and translucent.
  5. Add in the garlic and saute this for a minute and until fragrant.
  6. Add in the shrimp and saute this for about 2 minutes.
  7. Add in the chopped carrots and green peas and saute this for a minute.
  8. Add in your rice and mix this well, making sure all ingredients are fully distributed amongst the rice.
  9. In a small bowl, mix in the soy sauce, food coloring diluted and sesame oil.
  10. Add this into the rice mixture and mix this well. Stir fry this on high heat for about 3 minutes until the rice has absorbed the mixture and the color has been fully distributed.
  11. Taste this first and season with salt and pepper as desired.
  12. To finish this, sprinkle this with spring onions and mix this well.
  13. Plate this and garnish with more finely chopped spring onions.
  14. Serve hot with your favorite dish and enjoy!

SPAM® Carbonara

Date night with SPAM®? Say no more. This SPAM® Carbonara recipe is guaranteed to impress your special person. 


  • 300g dry spaghetti/linguine pasta; cook as per package (reserve about 1/8 cup of the cooking water)
  • 1/3 cup SPAM®; cubed into ½ cm x ½ cm
  • 2 tbsp onions; white, brunoise
  • ¼ cup cream
  • 3 pcs egg yolks
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped curly parsley for garnishing
  • More parmesan cheese for garnishing


  1. In a pot, cook the pasta according to package instructions and set it aside. 
  2. In a the same pot, heat up some oil and add in the SPAM® and cook this out until crispy and has rendered its flavor unto the oil for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Take out about 2 tbsp of the crispy SPAM® bits and set this aside.
  4. Add in the onions and saute until soft, tender and translucent.
  5. Dump in the cooked pasta and toss this well until the pasta is coated with the SPAM® oil and all its flavors.
  6. Season heavily with salt and pepper, toss and turn the heat off. Let this cool down for a minute or so, so that the egg yolks don’t turn into scrambled eggs.
  7. In a bowl, mix in the egg yolks, cream and parmesan cheese and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  8. Add this onto the warm (but not hot) pasta. Toss this well away from the heat so that the egg yolks wont cook. Add in some of the cooking water if you want your sauce a bit runnier or less if you want it thicker.
  9. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
  10. Plate this and top with the reserved crispy SPAM® bits and more parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
  11. Serve hot with some toasted bread and enjoy!

SPAM® Cheese Spring Rolls

This SPAM® Cheese Spring Rolls recipe is perfect for that last-minute Cocktail party or an afternoon merienda.


  • 20pcs spring roll wrapper; medium sized, round or square
  • 227g or 1 bar of mozzarella cheese; cut into 1cm thick x 3.5 inches long sticks
  • ½ a can of SPAM®; cut into 1cm thick x 3.5 inches long sticks
  • 1 pcs egg; beaten
  • Oil for frying


  1. Lay down the one mozzarella cheese and one SPAM® sticks on top of each other and place them on top of the spring roll, making sure to lay them at the edge closest to your tummy.
  2. Roll this by rolling one time over and the folding in both left and right-side flaps.
  3. Continue to roll this all the way through. Close this using the beaten egg, by dipping a silicone brush or your finger onto the beaten egg and smearing it across the open flap. Repeat this to all pieces of SPAM® and mozzarella sticks.
  4. Deep fry this in hot oil for about 2-3 minutes making sure to turn so all sides will be
  5. golden brown.
  6. Let this drain in a bowl lined with tissue paper to absorb the excess oil.
  7. Plate this on a wooden board with some tissue or parchment or a plate.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
